D.A.T.A., a newly launched Drug/Alcohol Training and Awareness program from Edge Information Management, Inc., is a valuable online tool created to help companies stay in compliance with the latest federally mandated educational requirements.

Melbourne, FL, February 17, 2009 — Edge Information Management, Inc. (Edge),www.edge.muzeummarketing.com, a prominent provider of background checks and drug testing services, is proud to announce the recent launch of its new product, D.A.T.A., a Drug/Alcohol Training and Awareness program for employees and supervisors. This new online tool helps companies stay in compliance with the latest educational requirements mandated by federal agencies including the Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) and the Department of Energy.

D.A.T.A. provides interactive training as required by the most recent federal government rules and regulations regarding drugs and alcohol. The concepts which are taught are presented through reading, viewing and responding. The user must answer accurately in order to continue to the next level, which leads to higher comprehension at a quicker rate.

Joe Langford, president of Edge Information Management, Inc., says that the company is excited to launch the interactive online computer-based training course that economically delivers in-depth employee and supervisor drug awareness training.

“Edge is pleased to meet the request from our customers for a high quality online Drug Awareness Training program that meets the testing requirements for D.O.T. in addition to many corporate drug screening policies,” he said.

While in-person group training can be expensive and difficult to schedule, D.A.T.A. saves companies time and money. The trouble-free internet based point-and-click training easily fits individual employees schedules, making it accessible to a user at any time and leaves little room for error. D.A.T.A. is easily accessed through Edge’s current website and comes complete with four modules to ensure that employees receive the precise training they need.

On the part of supervisors, D.A.T.A. focuses on how to improve the productivity of their employees by teaching key management skills. Similarly, the online training provides employees with a basic understanding of the problems associated with drag and alcohol use and the workplace.

D.A.T.A. also teaches employees and supervisors about the drug testing process from start to finish as well as the alcohol testing process and the role of a substance abuse professional in counseling.
